Patrick Taylor, Technical Sales Director at Conidia, will tomorrow 23rd April, deliver a speech at the 2016 NISTM (National Institute for Storage Tank Management) Conference in Orlando, Florida.

The speech entitled:

“Test to Protect”

Managing all risks involved in microbial infection of fuels and fuel storage assets.

covers the issue of offering the concept to asset owners of reviewing the traditional planned maintenance strategy,  against the value of a Risk managed approach.

The core message of the speech is to explore the concept of valuing all risk involved in the maintenance process and then add the concept of obtaining base data on tank condition before the final decision is made on action planning.  This process will in general develop a best value decision making process to asset operators while minimising risk to the operation across all aspects of the business.
