I have been involved with Conidia Bioscience Ltd since its inception in 2000; becoming the Managing Director in 2005. My background is military rather than scientific. After passing out from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 1972 I spent the next 20 or so years serving with the Royal Artillery, The Royal Army Pay Corps and the Adjutant General’s Corps: until 1994 when I retired in the rank of Major.
During my time in the Army I qualified as a Chartered Secretary, and have subsequently qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management and become a Member of the Institute of Directors.
My route from the military to Conidia was via finance positions in a publishing company providing information pamphlets to “Big Pharma” and in CABI, Conidia’s scientific parent.
