Gerry Herman moves on to pastures new
Today we sadly waved goodbye to our Technical Manager Gerry Herman.
It is with great sadness, we are announcing the retirement of our Technical and Production Manager Gerry Herman. Joining the company in 2010 Gerry has been a valuable asset to Conidia.
Prior to joining Conidia, Gerry’s career was made up of an impressive portfolio with expertise and experience including, serving in the Royal Air Force as an Engineering officer (Flight Engineer) on C130 Hercules and Vickers VC10 aircraft.
Whilst serving in the Royal Air Force Gerry completed operational tours in the former Yugoslavia, The Falkland Islands, Sierra Leone, Incirlik Air Base, The Arabian Gulf and Afghanistan. During these operational tours in Incirlik and the Gulf much of the Air to Air Refuelling time was in delivering a service to the US Navy and Marine Corps, the “probe and drogue” air to air refuelling capabilities being compatible.
Gerry left the RAF in 2010 and joined our team at Conidia Bioscience. Responsibilities included technical support to the sales team and customers as well as overseeing the production process for the product.
Married with a grown up daughter, Gerry is a RYA/MCA Commercially endorsed Ocean Yachtmaster and Cruising Yacht Instructor with a track record of many ocean yacht deliveries.
Gerry’s immediate retirement plans will be to enjoy time on his own yacht currently based in the Greek Islands.
We congratulate Gerry on his retirement and wish him all the best for the future.
