From our earliest days, our mission has been to help operators work more efficiently, and with confidence in their fuel systems through test-at-the-tank technologies. Reaching a quarter of a century is not just a moment for reflection, but an opportunity to set our sights firmly on the future.
As we celebrate this anniversary, we also recognise the challenges facing our planet and our responsibility to act. Sustainability is no longer an option – it is a necessity. That is why we are making a renewed environmental pledge based on three core principles that will guide how we develop, manufacture, and collaborate in the years ahead.

Our work in monitoring and detecting microbial contamination has always been about safeguarding fuel integrity. As new “green” fuels such as HVO, biodiesel, and synthetic blends come into wider use, we will continue to invest in research and innovation that helps operators understand their properties and performance. By providing the tools and insights required for safe adoption, we aim to play an active role in accelerating the journey toward cleaner energy.

While our products are designed to help safeguard critical infrastructure, we are also focused on how they are made and delivered. Single-use plastics remain a widespread challenge across industries, and laboratory consumables are no exception. That is why we are working actively to reduce the use of disposable plastics in our test kits wherever possible.
Our product development team has been working hard to reduce single use plastics, and where possible identify sustainable alternatives to plastic components within our test kits. This involves rethinking product design, packaging and introducing recycled, recyclable or biodegradable materials into our kit components. While safety and accuracy remain non-negotiable, we believe that innovation can deliver both performance and responsibility.
The first stage in this process is now complete with the introduction of FUELSTAT One, our new test kit that moves our technology forward, delivering the advantages of fully quantitative test results in 20-30 mins, whilst reducing the single use plastic of the test.
This ongoing programme is a key step in aligning our products with global efforts to reduce plastic waste.
